Affiliates & online advertisements can be divided into three types according to the conditions under which the commissions are generated.
CPM/PPM
Cost-Per-Mille/Pay-Per-Mille (Mille means 1,000)
It means that for every 1,000 impressions of your ad, you will be paid a predetermined amount of money.
The price varies from a few cents to several dollars.
Suitable sites
- Sites that are already established and content-oriented
Suitable for sites with content and design that matches the advertiser's brand image, and especially recommended for burner ads with visual effects.
Advantages
- The most advantageous or least risky form for affiliate bloggers
- You will be paid based on the number of times you view the ad, so practically every ad you view will lead to income
- If the site has a certain amount of page views, the income is stable and predictable
Disadvantages
- The most lucrative and least risky form for affiliate bloggers
Affiliate Companies
BuySellAds
- The largest and most famous company for selling and buying advertising space
- 25% of the sales price is BuySellAds' commission
- Basically, for sites that are mainly written in English
- Only sites with the original domain can register
- There is no minimum page view for registration, but 10,000PV/month is the minimum
Amazon CPM
- Only a few people authorized by Amazon U.S. can post CPM ads
- Depending on your browser, you may or may not see the tabs for placing ads; for example, you can only see them in Firefox
CPC/PPC
Cost-Per-Click/Pay-Per-Click
Cost-Per-Click/Pay-Per-Click is pay-for-performance advertising most widely used in the United States.
It is the most commonly used type of advertising in the U.S. It is so-called click-based advertising.
Suitable sites
- Sites that are readable and content-oriented, such as diary-type blogs
Any site that meets the standards of each advertising company (adult sites, sites with violent content, etc., are not acceptable) is acceptable. It is suitable for burner-type ads and list-type and text-type ads.
Advantages
- Easy to start, even for new blogs
- The number of clicks can be reliably traced

- There is no minimum number of page views, but site design is essential
Revcontent
- A company that offers Native Advertising has been overgrowing over the past couple of years
- Probably more difficult to get approved for this service than Google Adsense or Media Net
- 98% of sites are not approved because the site's quality is the priority!
BidVertiser
- Mainly in burner format
- Relatively old company in CPC, started in 2003
- Offers burner ads as well as slider ads
- When a visitor clicks on an ad, fills out a form, or purchases a product or service, you get paid; it's both CPC and CPA/CPS
- An approval process is instantaneous and straightforward, even for new sites
- Non-English sites are also accepted
- Acceptance starts at $10 for Paypal
Chitika
- Mainly in burner format
- It is the best alternative to Google Adsense when your account is suspended
- Initial approval takes a few days to a week but once approved, and you can post ads on other sites
- PCP rates are lower than Google Adsense and Media Net
- The minimum payment is $10 for Paypal
- Supports only sites written in English
- It can be used with Google AdSense
Adversal
- Mainly in burner format
- In addition to banners, pop-unders and other types of ads are also available
- It takes a few days to be approved
- It would help if you had more than 50,000 page views/month (not so strict), and your site must have been up for at least 30 days

- Ads are only displayed in English and Spanish
- Payments start at $50
- Sites that pop up ads from keywords tend to be considered "annoying" and challenging to read and are not liked
- Low-relevance ads are often displayed
Clicksor
- There have been reports of malware in the past, so it's best to avoid this site
- PropellerAds Media, Especially for gaming, entertainment, dating, finance, gambling, etc.
- × PopAds A service specializing in pop-unders. You can request payment at any time
- Exit Junction An ad that takes visitors from search engines to a different search listing (sponsored listing) instead of the original page when they click the back button. However, sites that have this installed are likely to be penalized by Google AdSense
CPA/PPA (CPS/PPS)
Cost-Per-Action/Pay-Per-Action or Cost-Per-Sell/Pay-Per-Sell
This is also a pay-per-action type, but the reward is generated when the visitor clicks on the ad and purchases more goods or services (CPS) or registers their e-mail address or phone number (CPA).
Suitable sites
- Sites that handle products or services with high unit prices in a niche market with few competitors
Product review sites with not only product burners but also text-type links.
Advantages
- One time commissions are higher than other types (3.5% for Amazon)
- Even if you purchase products other than the one you introduce from the affiliate's site, you will be rewarded
Disadvantages
- The affiliate is responsible for everything from placing the ad to selling the product, making this the most disadvantageous form of advertising
- Often does not lead to commissions even if the ads are placed (thus favoring the advertiser and posing the highest risk to the blogger)
- Requires the creation of an individual product or company links (which can be difficult to maintain)

C.J. by conversant
- One of the top affiliate companies in the U.S. is C.J. by conversant (formerly Commission Junction)
- It's easy to register, and languages other than English are accepted
- They have about 3,000 advertisers and many contracts with major companies such as Walmart, Apple, Home Depot, etc.
- Minimum payment of $50 for bank transfer
- No PayPal, no Referral Program
ShareASale
- About 3,900 advertisers, about 1,000 of which are exclusive to ShareASale
- It is recommended to register with C.J. and ShareASale as more niche advertisers than the big ones
- Two types of memberships are available, with full membership is given after the first payment is received and CPC benefits
- Payments are made on the 20th of each month, starting at $50, no PayPal.
- There are some minor, but excellent advertisers
Rakuten Affiliate Network (Rakuten Linkshare)
- Major Japanese company
- Changed their name to Rakuten Affiliate Network in 2014
- Easy to register, but you need to get approval from each advertiser after registration

- Like VigLink, an affiliate brokerage company
- Based in London, UK, but also has an office in California
- Converts regular links to affiliate links, converts set keywords to affiliate links, pops up Amazon and eBay price comparisons
- If your site has a certain amount of U.S. and U.K. visitors, it will be approved
- It can be used in conjunction with AdSense, but some people have reported that it makes the site heavy
- Compared to VigLink, Skimlinks is highly rated for its transparency in commissions, etc. Skimlinks is easier to use for detailed link settings
- VigLink is recommended for the U.S., but it depends on each site
- A relatively new Israeli company founded in 2008
- Often mentioned as an alternative service to Google Adsense
- CPA based, so you don't get paid just for clicks
- The approval process is simple and instantaneous
- Rewards can be as low as $20 for Paypal
GumGum
- Mainly in image format
- In image format: Ads are displayed on the image you post, so you don't need extra ad space
